FLYTYERS DESIGNER SKIN is synthetic elastic skin with a peel off white paper backing. Draw the shape required with a pencil or a pen and cut out with scissors, snap off the paper backing and use. This unique new product is only available from Virtual Nymph and is gaining an international reputation with some of the world’s best creative flytyers. Simple to use, just draw the shape and cut it out. An excellent product for cutting long strips with a straight edge for small segmented abdomens, round shapes for Shrimp backs, tapered shapes for head capsule covers and Thorax’s etc. Supplied as a 5 x 5 inch sheet and very thin. Flytyers Designer Skin will not snap under tension, does not fade and has been stabilized to prevent perishing. Flytyers Designer Skin can be coloured with Edding & Kurecolour permanent markers to imitate realistic nymphs when matching the hatch.

VN-STONECLINGER HEAD & WING PLATES
Our rivers are teeming with Stoneclinging Mayfly nymphs Due the distinctive shape of these nymph, flytyers find it hard to imitate. Using VN-Stoneclinger head and wing plates now make tying these insets very easy and look very realistic.
How to use; After you have tied in you tails and body select the correct size head and wing plate. Cut it out using scissors  Tie in upside down over the hook eye. Tie in your 6 legs then fold over the head & wing plate and secure with superglue or epoxy resin. Although VN-Stoneclinger head and wing plates are made using a tough un-rippablewater proof polymer, they can be coloured to Match the Hatch with permanent marker pens like Edding & Kurecolour.

Selecting a size. This product is mesured accross the head, so, judge the size needed by laying it over the hook shank before tying in.

VN-STONEFLY WING BUDS
have been designed by Bill Logan & Steve Thornton, both realistic flytyers. Bill lives in New York and is a professional illustrator and has designed the wing detail. Steve lives in England and has put together this fantastic product for our exclusive use.
Stoneflies are everyone’s favourite pattern and this product will certainly help you make a Stonefly with
that little bit extra. Stoneflies can be tied in many ways and by adding these wing buds to your pattern will not only save you
time, but make a more effective fishing pattern. VN-Stonefly Wing Buds are easy to use, simply cut around a wing bud, then place it in-between a VN-Stonefly Wing Burner Tool. ( out soon ) Take a flame or a quarterizer and burn off the excess outside the
burner. and they are ready to use. Although VN-Stonefly Wing Buds are made using a tough un-rippable water proof polymer, they can be coloured to Match the Hatch with permanent marker pens like Edding & Kurecolour. Sealing the wing bud with a matt varnish or glue will help the general aesthetics.

Selecting a size.... If you intend to tie a one inch stonefly, select size 2, and so on.
